Check Your Condensate Drain Line

Find your condensate drain line on the outside of your house. Make sure it is clear of any mulch or debris that would block it from draining liquid freely. Sometimes landscaping is done in such a way that the pipe gets blocked and a backup occurs inside. Mud daubers and other pests can also create a problem by building nests in the pipe that can cause it to clog.

When Was Your Last Cooling System Maintenance?

Condensate lines and the Condensate pump require regular maintenance to run efficiently. This help you avoid water damage from your air conditioner by making sure algae doesn’t build up and create clogs. Check For Water In The Drain Pan
